Meet RCLF’s Business Coach Wayne Dennis!

Wayne Dennis is a Business Coach at Renaissance Community Loan Fund based in the Tupelo, Mississippi office. Wayne Dennis is known for quickly building relationships between clients, customers, and businesses to begin a path to success. With over fifty years of experience in both public and private sectors in distribution, manufacturing, and retail, Wayne has developed the necessary tools in management, sales, operations, product development, marketing, contract negotiations, coaching, and strategic and tactical implementation to build successful foundations. Over these years, through many trials and errors, he has learned how to use challenges and obstacles as stepping stones for success instead of barriers. 

“In my career, I have had the privilege of working long-term in various leadership roles with one publicly held company founded in 1882 and two highly successful industry-leading multi-generational family businesses. Along with running my own business for ten years, I have experienced the good, the bad, and the ugly of business operations. My goal for RCLF’s commercial clients is to bring in more of the good and limit the amount of bad and ugly in running a business.” 

Wayne has built a reputation for bringing about the necessary change within organizations without the pain generally associated with shifting from the status quo to a new direction. His former employers and clients were confident to ask him to take on the most complex and challenging projects, knowing they would be successful and within budget. The key to his success has always been his ability to listen, analyze, plan, implement, and lead. 

Some of his many milestones have included systems integration and conversion, directing the development of e-commerce B2B and B2C platforms, ISO-based Quality Control processes, supply-chain management, and logistics, HR Policy development, and new business startups. Because of working with many independent business owners over his career, one of his passions is helping family-owned businesses develop successful generational succession plans. 

Wayne understands the daily challenges faced by independent business owners. Being an independent business owner for ten years, he understands the entrepreneur’s excitement of launching a new idea into a new business opportunity and the challenges they have to overcome for success.
