Renaissance Community Loan Fund Awarded Over $4 Million in Funding to assist Mississippi and Alabama residents!
Renaissance Community Loan Fund (RCLF) is proud to announce that we have received $4,040,000 in investments and grants from multiple organizations since March 2023!
- CDFI Fund Financial Assistance Award – $740k grant
- CDFI Fund Equitable Recovery Program Award – $500k grant
- Opportunity Finance Network Finance Justice Fund – $1.5M investment and $300k grant
- Appalachian Community Capital – up to $1M investment
RCLF will use these generous awards to continue providing affordable lending opportunities and free financial education and coaching to our mortgage and business clients. These clients, both in our current market in Mississippi and in our upcoming expansion into Alabama, are often ignored or left behind by traditional financial institutions, such as clients that are people of color and those that live in low-income communities and communities with high rates of poverty and disinvestment.
