Success Story: Sonshine Inn Daycare, Ocean Springs, Ms

Founded in 2000 on the belief that every child deserves the chance to learn and develop in a nurturing environment, Sonshine Inn Daycare is one of the few remaining area childcare centers that works with the Department of Human Services to provide children in foster care and those from low-income families affordable tuition rates. After receiving a loan through Renaissance’s financial lending initiatives, the school was able to settle an existing debt and refinance its mortgage under more favorable terms than that of traditional lending. The resulting benefits have offered Sunshine Daycare the needed stability to grow its programs, giving more children in critical need the earliest foundation for academic success, which they will carry for a lifetime.
